DC motor is a kind of rotating motor which can convert DC electrical energy into mechanical energy (DC motor) or mechanical energy into DC electrical energy (DC generator). It is a kind of motor which can realize the conversion of DC electric energy and mechanical energy. We should pay attention to the operation methods and steps when using and running, in order to prevent improper operation and affect the use effect. What are the basic points that should be paid attention to in the application?
1. Before disassembly, check the appearance integrity of the brushless DC motor, and then use compressed air to blow off the dust on the surface of the brushless DC motor and wipe off the surface dirt.
2. Select the workplace where the brushless DC motor is disassembled and clean the site environment.
3. Familiar with the structure characteristics and maintenance technical requirements of Brushless DC motor.
4. Prepare special tools and equipment for disassembly.
5. In order to further understand the defects in the operation of Brushless DC motor, inspection and test can be carried out before disassembly if conditions permit. Therefore, the brushless DC motor is loaded for trial operation, and the temperature, sound, vibration and other conditions of each part of the DC brushless motor are checked in detail, and the voltage, current, speed, etc. are tested. Then, the load is disconnected and the no-load inspection test is carried out respectively. The no-load current and no-load loss are measured and recorded.
6. Cut off the power supply, remove the external wiring of Brushless DC motor and make records.
7. Choose a multimeter to test the insulation resistance of Brushless DC motor. In order to compare the insulation resistance values measured during the last overhaul and judge the insulation change trend and insulation status of the brushless DC motor, the insulation resistance measured at different temperatures should be converted to the same temperature, generally 75 ℃.
8. When the absorptivity is greater than 1.33, it means that the insulation of Brushless DC motor is not affected by moisture or the humidity is not serious. For comparison with previous data, the absorptivity measured at any temperature should also be converted to the same temperature.
9. After checking all the problems, handle the problems found, reassemble them completely and run the inspection.

DC generator is a machine that converts mechanical energy into DC electric energy. It is mainly used as DC motor, electrolysis, electroplating, electric smelting, charging and AC generator excitation power supply. Although in the place where direct current is needed, power rectifying elements are also used to convert alternating current into direct current, but from some aspects of working performance, AC rectifying power supply can not completely replace DC generator.
